Ninco is one of those brands that any Spanish child with a motorsport-loving parent recognises instantly. It started in Mataró (Barcelona) in 1993 with its famous slot car circuits (cars that race along a track with a groove), and over the years it has expanded into radio control with the Nincoracers line. Today it produces official RC replicas of the big Rally teams (Hyundai, Citroën) and of the Dakar (Carlos Sainz's Audi RS Q E-Tron), as well as off-road cars, amphibious cars, boats and more hilarious toys such as the Sonic motorbike or cars that play football. Who Ninco are and why it matters

Ninco was founded in Mataró (Barcelona) in 1993 as a manufacturer of slot cars and circuits. For decades it was one of the major Spanish racing toy brands, competing with Scalextric in the slot segment. From the 2010s onwards it expanded its range into radio control with the Nincoracers line, which is now its most dynamic area: 1:10 RC replicas with official licences from World Rally Championship (WRC) teams, the Dakar and other professional championships.

What sets Ninco apart from other RC brands on the market: paintwork and graphics faithful to the real championship cars (not just ‘any old car with stickers’), large scales (1:10, not tiny toys), and a finish that stands up to heavy use. These are toys designed for real motorsport fans (children aged 8 and over, and adult collectors), not for the very young.

1:10 Rally replicas: official WRC and Dakar

This is Ninco's premium line and the newest in the range. Three 1:10 scale replicas (around 42 cm long) in the official livery of the professional teams:

All three have four-wheel drive, proportional steering, independent suspension and adjustable speed. Recommended age 8+ because of the size of the components and the speed. They run on 2.4 GHz, with no interference with other RC cars.

About batteries, frequencies and compatibility

A useful tip for any radio-controlled toy: batteries are almost never included for the controller, although they usually are in the car (internal rechargeable ones). The newer Ninco models run on 2.4 GHz, a modern frequency that avoids interference between cars and lets several play at once without the signals clashing. If you buy two Ninco cars for two siblings, they will not interfere with each other.

The 1:10 Rally replicas (Audi, Hyundai, Citroën) have a USB-rechargeable battery; the charger is usually in the box. As for battery life, let us be realistic: 15-25 minutes of continuous use per charge is typical, with 2 to 4 hours to recharge. If your child is going to be outside all afternoon, a second battery is worth having.

Is Híper Ocio an official Ninco distributor?

Yes, we are authorised official Ninco distributors. The products come directly through the manufacturer's official channel in Mataró (Barcelona), with intact packaging and the official guarantee.

What is the minimum age for a child to play with a Ninco RC car?

Most are 6+ (Sonic moto, GoalCars, amphibious cars). The 1:10 Rally replicas (Audi, Hyundai, Citroën) are 8+ because of their size and speed. The age recommendations are marked on the box by the manufacturer.

Are the Ninco WRC Rally replicas the real championship cars?

Yes, they are official replicas with the decoration and livery of the professional WRC and Dakar teams. The Audi RS Q E-Tron 1:10 is the replica of the car that won the 2024 Dakar (with Carlos Sainz senior as one of the team's drivers). The Hyundai i20 and Citroën C3 are the World Rally Championship models.

Are batteries included with Ninco RC toys?

The car usually has an internal USB-rechargeable battery. The controller normally needs AA batteries (not included with some models, please check each box). The 1:10 Rally replicas include a USB charger.

Do you deliver Ninco cars throughout Spain?

Yes, Ninco RC cars are included in Híper Ocio's standard nationwide delivery. It is free on orders from €49.99 (most Ninco cars are above that threshold). Only household appliances, televisions and air conditioning are restricted to the local Almanzora area.

Can I pay for my purchase in instalments?

Yes: at checkout you can choose Klarna, which shows you the instalment options available for your purchase before you confirm. Useful if you are combining several Rally replicas or if they are part of a Three Kings' bundle with other presents.

Can I return a Ninco car if I am not happy with it?

Yes, you have 30 calendar days to return it under our returns policy, provided it is unused and in its original packaging. If it has already been driven (scratches, marked wheels, used battery), it cannot be returned. Return postage is paid by the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
