Sherlock Holmes: The Crimes of the Thames

Sherlock Holmes: Los crímenes del Támesis plunges you into the murky waters of London's most iconic river, where the darkest secrets lie in wait beneath the surface. This cooperative investigation game challenges you to solve a series of interconnected crimes that have Sherlock Holmes himself working against the clock.

Will you be able to unravel the truth before it is too late?

An immersive detective experience

Los crímenes del Támesis is not simply a board game: it is a criminal investigation experience that transports you to the heart of Victorian London. Each case is meticulously designed to make you feel like a real detective, following leads, questioning suspects and connecting seemingly unrelated pieces of evidence.

What sets this game apart is its unique atmosphere. The Thames, with its misty docks, mysterious boats and submerged secrets, becomes another character in the story. Each investigation will take you along the banks of the river, from the elegant landing stages to the seediest districts of the port.

Interconnected cases with a deep narrative

Unlike other Sherlock Holmes Detective Asesor boxes, Los crímenes del Támesis features cases that are connected to one another, creating a broader narrative that unfolds as you progress through the investigations. You will discover that the clues from one case can shed light on another, and that characters reappear in unexpected ways.

This narrative structure gives the game more depth: as well as solving individual crimes, you unravel a larger conspiracy that threatens the city.

Complete freedom of investigation

The game system gives you absolute freedom to investigate as you see fit. There are no rigid turns or predefined paths. You decide:

• Do you visit the crime scene first or question the witnesses?
• Do you consult the Scotland Yard files or would you rather look for information in the newspapers?
• Do you follow the trail of the main suspect or investigate the secondary connections?

Every decision has consequences. Some clues will bring you closer to the truth; others will lead you down dead ends. The key is to think like a detective: observe, deduce and connect information.

Box contents

• Detailed map of London: With particular attention to the Thames areas and their surroundings
• Case booklets: Each with a unique crime to solve
• Period newspapers: With news, advertisements and clues hidden among their pages
• London guide: A directory with addresses, contacts and key locations
• Rulebook: Clear and accessible so you can start investigating straight away

A captivating gaming experience

Picture the scene: the map of London spread out on the table, the Thames fog almost tangible in your imagination. A body has just been found floating in the river near Tower Bridge. The first enquiries point to a settling of scores between smugglers, but something does not add up...

You consult the newspaper and find a seemingly unrelated story about a robbery at a dockside warehouse. Coincidence? You decide to visit the scene of the robbery. There, a witness mentions having seen a man in a green coat near the wharf on the night of the crime. You search the London guide to find out who he might be...

This is how every game unfolds: a chain of decisions, discoveries and deductions that keeps you hooked until the mystery is solved.

Accessible yet challenging

Although the game is accessible to players with no previous experience of investigation games, it offers a level of challenge that will satisfy even the most experienced detectives. There are no elements of chance: everything depends on your powers of observation, logical reasoning and attention to detail.

At the end of each case, you will compare your conclusions with those of Sherlock Holmes himself. Were you more efficient? Did you uncover every detail? Or perhaps you needed more clues to reach the truth?

Perfect for mystery lovers

Los crímenes del Támesis is ideal for groups of 1 to 8 players who enjoy crime novels, deduction games and immersive narrative experiences. Games can last between 90 and 180 minutes, perfect for an afternoon of intensive investigation.
