Party & Co. - Original

Party & Co. Original: the king of party games

If there is one game that has been present at thousands of family gatherings, birthdays and parties with friends, it is Party & Co. Original. This Diset classic has been making players of all ages laugh, compete and have fun for decades. It is the game you bring out when you want to guarantee fun, laughter and memorable moments.

What makes Party & Co. so special?

The appeal of Party & Co. lies in its variety: it combines five different modes that test very different skills. In a single game you will have to draw, mime, hum songs, answer questions and solve riddles, so nobody gets bored and everyone has their moment.

It is also a game that adapts perfectly to the group. Whether there are four of you or twelve, the games work just as well. In fact, the more people there are, the more fun it all becomes.

The five challenges that await you

Drawing

You will have to draw concepts, objects or situations for your team to guess. And no, you do not need to be an artist. In fact, the most disastrous drawings are usually the funniest. Watching someone try to draw "democracy" or "vacuum cleaner" in 30 seconds is quite a spectacle.

Mime

Without words, using only gestures, you must get your team to guess what you have drawn. Films, professions, actions... Anything goes except talking. This is where everyone's acting talents (or lack of them) come to light.

Sounds and songs

Hum, whistle or make sounds so that your team guesses the song or sound you are representing. This challenge always produces hilarious moments, especially when someone tries to hum a song they do not know very well.

Questions

General knowledge, current affairs, history, science... The questions cover all kinds of topics. This is where the know-it-alls of the group can shine, although the wrong answers are often as funny as the right ones.

Riddles and words

Definitions, clues and riddles to be solved. This challenge puts wit and quick thinking to work.

For 4 or more players: the more, the merrier

Party & Co. is designed to be played in teams, usually of 2 or more people per team. The recommended age is 14 years and over, although it also works with slightly younger children if there are adults in the teams to help them with the harder questions.

Games usually last between 45 minutes and an hour, depending on how competitive you are and how long you spend chatting about each move. It is the perfect kind of game for those afternoons or evenings when you are in no hurry and want to have a good time.

How to play

The mechanics are simple: teams move around a board by rolling the die and completing the challenges they land on. Each square indicates what type of challenge must be done. If your team gets it right, you move forward; if you fail, it stays where it is. The first team to reach the finish wins.

There are special squares that add excitement: some let you move forward faster, others force you to do harder challenges, and some give you the chance to steal turns from other teams. Every game is different because the cards are shuffled and you never know what you will get.

The experience of playing Party & Co.

The best thing about Party & Co. is not winning, but everything that happens during the game. The laughter when someone does a ridiculous mime, the heated debates over whether a drawing looks like what it is supposed to represent, the disastrously hummed songs, the absurd answers to the questions... Those are the moments you remember afterwards.

It is a game that breaks the ice at any gathering. If there are people who do not know each other well, Party & Co. gets everyone laughing together within half an hour as if they were lifelong friends.

A gift for any occasion

Party & Co. Original is one of those gifts that always works. For a birthday, for Christmas, for Epiphany, for a stag or hen party, for a housewarming... It is always a good idea. It is the kind of gift people actually use, rather than one that ends up gathering dust in a cupboard.

Diset quality: a lasting classic

Party & Co. has been on the market for decades and remains one of the best-selling games year after year. That is no coincidence: Diset has taken care over every detail so that the game is durable, fun and endlessly replayable.

The materials are sturdy. The board is made of thick cardboard, the cards have a finish that stands up well to use, and all the components are designed to last for many games. It is one of those games that is passed down from generation to generation.

Tips for getting the most out of it

To get the most out of Party & Co., we recommend creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Do not take the rules too seriously: if there is a doubtful move, have everyone vote or simply laugh and move on to the next one. What matters is having a good time.

If you are playing with people who do not know the game, do a practice round so everyone understands the mechanics. Once they get the hang of it, the games flow naturally.

And one important tip: do not be shy. The best moments in Party & Co. come when people let loose and dare to make fools of themselves. The more you throw yourselves into the mimes and drawings, the more you will laugh.
