Orbegozo RCM 9000 Ceiling Fan Remote Control Kit
Orbegozo RCM 9000 — Remote control converter kit for ceiling fans
The Orbegozo RCM 9000 is a kit that adds remote control to most ceiling fans, transforming any conventional fan into a remotely controlled device. It includes a receiver and remote control, allows managing speed and light without getting up, reaches up to 12 meters away, and has internal memory that remembers the last configuration even if the power is cut.
Why choose the RCM 9000?
- Speed control: allows changing between fan speeds with a single button.
- Light control: turns on, off, and switches the status of the fan's integrated light.
- Range of up to 12 meters: convenient from any corner of the room, even from bed.
- Internal memory: recovers the last speed and status after a power outage, without having to reconfigure.
- Universal installation: compatible with most standard-installation ceiling fans, including the Orbegozo range.
- Complete kit: receiver housed in the ceiling canopy and a portable remote for daily use.

Who is it ideal for?
It is the natural solution for those who have a chain- or wall-switch controlled ceiling fan and want to modernize it:
- Bedrooms where the fan needs to be controlled from bed, especially on hot nights.
- Living rooms with high ceilings where the traditional chain is too high or has been removed.
- Renovations where the double switch has been eliminated and only one power line remains.
- People with reduced mobility who prefer to operate the fan without moving.
- Rural houses and second homes where comfort is sought without additional construction work.
Notes on installation
The receiver is installed inside the fan canopy, between the ceiling rose and the fan's connection block. It requires access to the power cables, fan live wire, and light live wire. Installation is simple for an electrician or experienced hobbyist, but we recommend it be carried out by a professional, especially if the fan is old or the ceiling is difficult. Before purchasing, verify that your fan has a canopy with enough space to house the receiver and that its internal system is compatible with external receiver regulation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it work for any ceiling fan?
It is designed for standard-installation ceiling fans with a conventional motor and, optionally, a light. It is fully compatible with the Orbegozo fan range. For fans of other brands, it works in the vast majority of cases; DC motors with their own integrated electronics may not be compatible.
Do I need batteries for the remote?
Yes, the remote runs on batteries (not included, usually AAA). The receiver draws power directly from the installation.
Can I control two fans with the same remote?
The kit is designed for one fan. If you have two in the same room, the usual approach is to install one kit per fan, configuring different codes so that each remote only acts on its own fan.
Does it work through walls?
The RF signal passes through standard interior walls. Useful range decreases with thick walls, reinforced concrete, or fans on another floor, but within the same room, it works without problems up to 12 meters.
Does it lose settings if there's a power outage?
No. It has internal memory: when power is restored, the fan returns to the last speed and light status it had before the outage.
Can I still use the wall switch?
Yes. The wall switch remains operational to supply and cut power to the unit. Fine control (speed, light, turning off the fan with the light on or vice versa) is managed from the remote.
Can anyone install it?
If you have experience with basic electrical installations and follow the instructions, yes. If not, we recommend an electrician. Before handling, always cut the power from the main panel.
