How many square meters does it cover?
Up to 140 m² in conditions of moderate humidity. In areas with very high humidity (saturated basements, coast with 90% RH), effective coverage is reduced to about 80-100 m² to maintain a target level of 50%.
Is it noisy for sleeping?
43 dB is the maximum noise at high fan speed. In night mode, it is perfectly compatible with sleep. Compare: a normal conversation is around 60 dB, a whisper is around 30 dB.
Does it need to be emptied often?
The 5.5 L tank fills in approximately 4-5 hours of intensive operation in very humid rooms. In normal domestic use, the tank lasts between 12 and 24 hours. If you want to forget about it, connect a hose to the continuous drain and let it work non-stop.
What is R290 refrigerant and why does it matter?
R290 (refrigerant propane) is a natural gas with virtually zero global warming potential (GWP = 3) compared to traditional HFCs (GWP > 1,000). It is more energy-efficient, and European regulations clearly prefer it over synthetic refrigerants.
Does it work in winter with cold?
