Orbegozo KFI 1260 A Italian Coffee Maker Stainless Steel 12 Cups Induction
Orbegozo KFI 1260 A — 12-cup stainless steel Italian coffee maker suitable for induction
The Orbegozo KFI 1260 A is a classic Italian coffee maker made entirely of stainless steel with a capacity of 12 cups, designed for large families, offices, and traditional coffee gatherings. It is suitable for all types of stoves: gas, electric, ceramic, and induction, making it a versatile purchase that will adapt even to a future kitchen change. The stainless steel finish provides durability, permanent shine, and corrosion resistance far superior to aluminum coffee makers.
Why choose the Orbegozo KFI 1260 A?
- 12-cup capacity: ideal for groups, offices, family meals, or high coffee consumption throughout the day.
- Stainless steel body and base: does not rust, does not transfer flavors, and maintains its shine for years.
- Suitable for induction as well as gas, electric, and ceramic hobs: one coffee maker for any present or future kitchen.
- Bakelite handle and knob: secure grip and thermal insulation while the coffee maker is hot.
- Traditional Italian filtering system: steam pressure extracts coffee oils and achieves that characteristic intense aroma.
- Integrated safety valve: pressure release in case of blockage.
- Easy to clean: simple disassembly into three parts (reservoir, funnel, and pot) for quick rinsing.
- Availability of official spare parts: funnel (ref. 15612), stainless steel filter (ref. 15613), and silicone gasket (ref. 15611) — extending its lifespan almost indefinitely.

- Large families where everyone at the table drinks coffee after meals.
- Small offices, hair salons, or studios where coffee is offered to clients and employees.

How to prepare a good Italian coffee
Fill the lower reservoir with mineral or filtered water just below the safety valve. Place the funnel and fill it with medium-fine ground coffee (not very fine espresso: it could block the filter) without pressing it. Close the upper pot tightly, without forcing the thread. Place the coffee maker on the stove over medium-low heat: the slower the coffee rises, the more aromatic it will be. Remove it as soon as the coffee stops rising and makes the characteristic sound, serve and enjoy. Always clean with water and without aggressive detergents to preserve the flavor.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work on induction hobs?
Yes. The KFI 1260 A is suitable for induction, as well as gas, electric, and ceramic hobs. The stainless steel base is specifically designed to be detected by induction plates.
How many cups does it make and what size?
It is a 12-cup Italian-style coffee maker (small espresso/moka coffee cups, not breakfast cups). This capacity is indicated for meetings, offices, or groups.
Can it be put in the dishwasher?
To preserve the coffee flavor and protect the silicone gasket, it is recommended to hand wash it with warm water and, occasionally, neutral soap. Rinse it well and dry it before storing. Do not use abrasive scourers.
What spare parts can I get?
As an official Orbegozo distributor, we have access to original spare parts: funnel (ref. 15612), stainless steel filter (ref. 15613), and silicone gasket (ref. 15611) specific to the KFI 1250/1260. Ask us if you need any.
What coffee grind should I use for this coffee maker?
The ideal is a medium-fine grind, specifically for Italian coffee makers (labeled "moka" or "Italian"). A grind that is too fine (like machine espresso) can clog the filter and increase pressure.
