Educa Borrás Puzzle 4000 pieces The Wedding at Cana (19949)

The Puzzle 4000 Piezas Las Bodas de Caná de Educa Borrá reproduces the canvas by Paolo Veronese painted in 1563, held in the Louvre Museum. One of the largest works of the Venetian Renaissance (the original is 6.77 m wide), here turned into a 4000-piece jigsaw puzzle that measures 136 x 96 cm when finished: a serious challenge and, once framed, a decorative piece that stands on its own.

Educa Borrá has been making its puzzles in Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona) since 1894. It is one of the few brands on the market that still offers a lost piece replacement service: if months later you discover one is missing, they will send you the missing piece free of charge.

Frequently asked questions

How much space do I need to assemble it?

A table of at least 140 x 100 cm, or a large board if you want to be able to put it away between sessions. Most people assemble it on a covered MDF board and slide it under the bed or stand it against a wall when they are not working on it.

How long does it take to complete?

It depends a great deal on the puzzler. An experienced person takes between 40 and 80 hours. At a relaxed pace, in hour-and-a-half sessions in the evenings, it usually takes between three and six weeks. A painting with lots of single-colour background and human faces like this one is not one of the quickest.

What should I do if I lose a piece?

Educa Borrá has a lost piece service: contact their customer service quoting reference 19949 and the approximate row and column of the missing piece, and they will send it to you. It is one of the reasons many people pay what an Educa puzzle costs rather than choosing cheaper brands.
