Carcassonne Junior is the children's version of the multi-award-winning Carcassonne. In this simplified game of Carcassonne, the winner will be the first player to place all of their checkers on the board. The whole family can enjoy the challenge, from the age of 4. With two rulebook pages, you can learn to play and have fun right out of the box!
This children's version of the popular game Carcassonne is the gateway to the world of modern board games for the little ones. It is a more simplified version that also allows children to have the experience of building their own board by placing tiles. It is set on July 14, a very special day in Carcassonne: the French national holiday, and in this town it is a tradition to release the sheep, chickens and cows. The children of Carcassonne have a great time all day trying to return all the animals to their pens before the sun goes down. In this game, players close paths so that animals can be collected.
Each player has 8 tiles of their color, and the first player to place all their tiles on the tiles wins. On each turn, a player takes a tile and places it next to the others. The children of Carcassonne also appear on these tiles. You have to pay attention to the colors of the children, trying to close paths where children of your color appear. When a path is closed on both sides, all players place their tokens on top of the tiles where children of their color appear. The first player who manages to place all his tiles is the winner of the game! With this simple format, both parents and children can enjoy.
Carcassonne Junior is a great way to develop critical thinking in the youngest because each decision influences the outcome of the game. All the players have to be aware of the decisions of the other players, and this keeps the interest of all the players until the end. Carcassonne Junior presents an accessible challenge for children from 4 years old, but it can also generate complex decisions for adults. Although a game is played quickly (it usually takes about 30 minutes to play), this game offers hours of fun. Each game is different, since the tiles never appear in the same order and can be placed in many spaces. As a children's game, Carcassonne Junior not only offers an experience that challenges the little ones, it also challenges the big ones, which is what makes this children's game a game for the whole family.
Carcassonne Junior is a children's game that keeps both young and old competitive until the end. With a simple regulation and high replayability, it is perfect for any family. If you already feel like building your own board in Carcassonne Junior, you can learn how to play on Devir TV!
