Codenames Duet - Cooperative Game Devir

Código Secreto Dúo - The Cooperative Game for Spies

Código Secreto Dúo is a cooperative game by Devir for 2 players, recommended for ages 11 and up, with games lasting around 15-30 minutes. Having reviewed it, we think it is a very good choice for families and groups who prefer to win or lose together.

Publisher: Devir. Type: cooperative game. Players: 2. Recommended age: 11+. Approximate duration: 15-30 minutes.

Two secret agents. One shared mission. In Código Secreto Dúo, you and your partner must work together to contact all your agents before time runs out. Unlike the original Código Secreto, there are no rival teams here: cooperation is everything.

Designed by Vlaada Chvátil and Scot Eaton, this game turns the clue-and-word mechanics of the classic into a tense and addictive cooperative experience, perfect for two players or for playing in teams.

How to Play

A grid of 25 words is laid out on the table. Each player knows the location of some agents that the other cannot see. Taking turns, each player gives a one-word clue so that their partner can identify as many correct agents as possible. The challenge: avoid the assassin and do not run out of attempts before contacting all the agents.

What Makes This Game Unique

• Total cooperation - You win or lose together, with no internal rivalry
• Asymmetric information - Each player knows things the other does not, which requires precise communication
• Multiple difficulty levels - Missions with different time limits to adjust the challenge
• High replayability - Hundreds of different word combinations and set-ups
• Quick games - Between 15 and 30 minutes per game
