Why a soft body is key in early childhood

Babies and very young children need toys they can handle easily and safely. Ariel's soft body is designed for exactly that: no hard parts that could bother them, and a flexibility that makes her easy to pick up, squeeze and cuddle. She is the kind of doll little ones take everywhere — to the cot, in the pushchair, to their grandparents' house — because she naturally becomes a safe comfort object.

The perfect size to start with

At 26 cm, Ariel is just the right size for little ones to hold comfortably. Neither too big nor too small: it is a compact format that babies can handle on their own from very early on, naturally encouraging independence and independent play.
