🌬️ Orbegozo Box Fan BF 0150 | 50 cm Industrial Power
Orbegozo BF 0150 Box Fan — 50 cm power fan with high airflow
The Orbegozo BF 0150 Box Fan is a high-power fan from the "Power Fan" range, with 50 cm blades and 90 W that generate much higher airflow than any conventional domestic fan. Robust black metal structure, 5 blades, 3 speeds, and a wide safety grille. Designed to move large volumes of air in large rooms, open commercial areas, and spaces where a 40 cm pedestal fan falls short. Manually adjustable tilt and integrated handle for easy repositioning.
Why choose the BF 0150 Box Fan?
- 50 cm blades: the largest blade diameter in the Orbegozo catalog, moves much more air per revolution than a standard fan.
- 90 W power: airflow typical of a semi-professional fan, not a domestic model.
- 5 robust metal blades: uniform flow distribution, minimal vibration even at maximum speed.
- 3 speeds: adjust between continuous breeze, medium cooling, and powerful blast of air.
- Adjustable tilt: direct the flow to the ceiling (to move accumulated hot air), directly forward, or to the floor as needed.
- Integrated carrying handle: effortlessly reposition between rooms despite its size.
- Black metal structure: resistant industrial finish that withstands years of continuous use.
- Stable and wide base: does not shake or move at maximum speed on a flat surface.

Who is it ideal for?
The BF 0150 box fan is the answer when a normal fan falls short:
- Large living rooms and dining rooms over 25 m² where a 40 cm fan cannot cool everything.
- Industrial or domestic kitchens that get hot with the oven and hob in the middle of summer.
- Open commercial spaces (shops, bars with terraces, small premises) that need constant air circulation.
- Country houses and farmhouses with high ceilings and open windows where a large volume of air needs to be moved.
- Support for air conditioning in large rooms: the box fan distributes the cold air from the split unit to distant areas.
Box fan vs. traditional pedestal fan
A conventional pedestal fan (like the SF 1040) is designed for personal use or small rooms. The box fan, on the other hand, moves air by volume, not by personal direction. Its airflow is 2 to 3 times higher than that of a standard 40 cm fan, making it ideal when the priority is to cool an entire room, not just a specific person. The box-type structure with large blades and a low base also makes it very stable and easy to place against a wall or window to extract/push air as needed.

Frequently asked questions
Is it noisy?
At maximum speed, it generates more noise than a domestic fan (logically, it moves much more air). At medium speed, it is perfectly tolerable for conversation, television, or work. At low speed, it is discreet.
Does it cover large rooms?
Yes, especially designed for rooms from 25 to 50 m². In smaller spaces, it is excessive; it is advisable to adjust to low speed or use a smaller model.
Can it be placed in a window?
Its box fan format allows it to be placed near an open window to force the entry of fresh night air or the extraction of hot air. It is not airtight like an extractor, but it fulfills its function.
Does it have a remote control?
No. The BF 0150 has a mechanical speed selector on the casing, without a remote control or electronic timer. It is a model focused on mechanical reliability.
How much does it consume?
90 W of real consumption. Eight hours of continuous use is equivalent to 0.72 kWh, approximately 12-15 cents at the average price per kWh.
Can it be used outdoors?
It is not designed for outdoor use. It works well on covered terraces or porches, but should not be exposed to rain or strong environmental humidity.
How is it cleaned?
Unplug it, remove the front grille (perimeter clips), and clean the blades and grille with a damp cloth or soft brush to remove accumulated dust. One cleaning at the beginning and end of the summer season is sufficient.
