Is it noisy?

At maximum speed it makes more noise than a household fan (which is to be expected, as it moves much more air). At medium speed it is perfectly acceptable for conversation, television or work. At low speed it is quiet.

Does it cover large rooms?

Yes, it is specially designed for rooms of 25 to 50 m². In smaller spaces it is excessive; we recommend setting it to low speed or using a smaller model.

Can it be placed in a window?

Its box fan format allows it to be placed near an open window to draw in cool night air or extract warm air. It is not sealed like an extractor fan, but it does the job.

Does it have a remote control?

No. The BF 0150 has a mechanical speed selector on the housing, with no remote control or electronic timer. It is a model focused on mechanical reliability.

How much does it consume?

90 W of actual consumption. Eight hours of continuous use equals 0,72 kWh, approximately 12-15 cents at the average price per kWh.

Can it be used outdoors?

It is not designed for outdoor use. It works well on covered terraces or porches, but it must not be exposed to rain or high humidity.

How is it cleaned?

Unplug it, remove the front grille (clips around the edge) and clean the blades and grille with a damp cloth or soft brush to remove accumulated dust. Cleaning it at the start and end of the summer season is enough.
