🎮 Nintendo Switch 2 is now official: everything you need to know

Nintendo has officially announced the launch of the long-awaited Nintendo Switch 2. After years of rumors and leaks, the Japanese company has confirmed that the new console will be available starting June 5, 2025, in Spain and other European countries.

Two versions available from launch

Starting April 8, you can reserve two models:

• Nintendo Switch 2 Standard – €469.99

• Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World (digital format) – €509.99

Both packs include the new Joy-Con 2 , the base to connect to the TV and all the accessories needed to start playing from the first moment.

• Full HD resolution in portable mode and 4K output when connected to the base.

• New magnetic system in the Joy-Con 2 that attaches more securely.

• Redesigned speakers with more natural and immersive sound.

• Built-in microphone for voice chat via GameChat .

New cartridges and backward compatibility!

• New red cartridges , with higher reading speed.

• Compatible with classic Nintendo GameCube games, thanks to Switch Online.
