The LG 24TQ510S-WZ is a 24-inch television with HD resolution, the webOS 22 system and a white finish, which LG places in its Monitor TV range: it works equally well as a kitchen or bedroom television or as a desk screen connected to a computer or a games console. It is one of the few small televisions made in white, something that suits light kitchens and bedrooms.

Who it is for
This LG is aimed at anyone who wants a leading brand in a small format: kitchens, bedrooms, guest rooms, home offices and holiday homes. Being both a television and a monitor also makes it useful on a desk, connected over HDMI to a laptop or a games console, or in businesses that need a discreet screen with a terrestrial tuner. The white finish is its most sought-after feature, because almost all the competition at this size is made only in black.
Worth knowing: the sound is 5 W, enough for a kitchen or a bedroom but modest for a large room. If you plan to watch films, it is worth adding a soundbar over HDMI. Can it be used as a computer monitor?
Yes. LG sells the 24TQ510S-WZ as part of its Monitor TV range, precisely because it serves both purposes. It connects to a computer over HDMI, as it has no D-Sub or DisplayPort input. With HD resolution (1366 x 768) it is comfortable for browsing, office work and video, but it falls short of a Full HD monitor if you work with a lot of text or several windows.
What is the difference between the WZ and PZ models?
The colour. The 24TQ510S-WZ reference is the white finish and the 24TQ510S-PZ is the black one. The panel, the resolution, the webOS system and the connections are the same on both.
Can it be wall mounted?
Yes. It takes VESA 75 x 75 mm mounting, the standard size for small screens, so it is compatible with wall brackets and with articulated desk arms of that size. It weighs 3.25 kg without the stand. The centre-post stand is included.
Can I watch content from a memory stick?
Yes. The television has a USB 2.0 port and a built-in video and music player, so you can plug in a USB stick and play the files directly, with no other device needed. It also mirrors your phone or laptop screen over Miracast.
How bright is it? Will it work in a bright kitchen?
The panel reaches 250 cd/m², a sound figure for rooms with natural light such as a kitchen, and its Wide Viewing Angle technology holds the colour when viewed from one side, with a 178° viewing angle. In a room in full sun it is best not to place it directly opposite the window, to avoid reflections.
What warranty does it carry?
