Orbegozo Pressure Cooker Silicone Gasket HPL 4050 / 6050 Original Replacement
Original Orbegozo silicone gasket for HPL 4050 / HPL 6050 pressure cooker
The Orbegozo silicone gasket is the hermetic sealing part that fits into the inner edge of the lid and ensures that the pressure cooker seals tightly to the body. With use, gaskets harden, deform, or tear, and the pot begins to lose pressure around the lid. This original replacement restores your pot to its original performance.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work for HPL 70 pots (4070, 6070, 12070)?
No. This gasket is specific for HPL 4050 and HPL 6050 models. For the HPL 70 series, you need a different gasket reference.
How is the gasket installed?
With the lid cold, remove the old gasket from the inner channel of the lid. Clean the housing thoroughly. Place the new gasket by pressing with your fingers around the entire perimeter until it is evenly seated. Do not force or cut anything.
Does it need to be lubricated?
It is not necessary. Some people apply a minimal touch of vegetable oil to the edge to facilitate the first seal, but the gasket does not require special maintenance.
How long does one of these gaskets last?
Between 12 and 24 months with regular domestic use. If you cook daily or use the pot with very greasy foods, the lifespan may be shorter.
How do I clean it?
By hand, with hot water and mild soap. Avoid dishwashers and harsh detergents: they accelerate the degradation of the silicone.
Why isn't my pot building pressure even with a new gasket?
If the gasket is new and there are still leaks, check the locking spindle, the regulating valve, and the cleanliness of the gasket channel. Any of these points can prevent a tight seal.
Can it be washed in a dishwasher?
It is not recommended. The heat and harsh detergents of the dishwasher accelerate the loss of elasticity of the silicone.
