7 Wonders is one of the most awarded and played board games in the world. Its card drafting system—where each player chooses a card and passes the rest to their neighbor—eliminates downtime and ensures that everyone is making decisions at all times. No waiting, no boredom, with tension always at its peak.

Who is 7 Wonders for?

It's the ideal game for groups of 3 to 7 players aged 10 and up who are looking for an accessible yet genuinely deep strategy experience. Games last around 30 minutes, making it a perfect choice for both long sessions and a quick game with friends or family. The player balance is remarkable regardless of the number of participants.

How to play

Each player controls one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and manages their city through three ages. In each turn, you choose a card from your hand and play it to build structures, develop technologies, trade with your neighbors, or reinforce your army. Then you pass the remaining cards to the player to your left or right, depending on the age.

At the end of the three ages, military conflicts with neighbors are resolved, and victory points from all areas are tallied: science, trade, culture, guilds, wonders, and military power. The player who has built the most balanced and powerful civilization wins.

What makes 7 Wonders special

The simultaneous drafting mechanic completely eliminates downtime: all players act at the same time. This means that a game with 7 players takes the same amount of time as with 3, which is unusual for strategy games of this level. Additionally, the chaining system allows you to play cards for free if you already have the previous buildings, adding a very satisfying layer of long-term planning.
