What are T-Racers?
Updated in August 2026: T-Racers have now been on the market for five years. Since that first series of 8 drivers, MagicBox has released new waves themed around mutants, monsters and special vehicles, as well as several playsets and tracks. The concept remains the same (modular cars with interchangeable parts) and the recommended age range is still 4-8 years. Prices in 2026: the basic Turbo Wheels cost around €6-8 and the packs with tracks go up to €20-40. If your little one already has Superzings or is just getting started with collectables, T-Racers is still one of the friendliest gateways (low budget, hard to get bored of, no screens). If you have little ones at home, you have no doubt heard more than enough about Superzings, the MagicBox collectable figures that became popular a couple of years ago and have kept growing ever since (we are currently on series 7, released in January).
Well, since 5 March, T-Racers have also been available, a new twist in the world of collectable toys. They are a highly disruptive new concept of vehicles with drivers, offering a new way to play with cars. Each vehicle is made up of 3 completely different parts that can be swapped around to create your favourite car; even the wheels are interchangeable. There are more than 500 possible combinations!
The first series has 8 different drivers to collect, including an ultra-rare one. The Turbo Wheel contains 1 articulated driver and 1 car, both completely random, and it opens 'unboxing' style, as each part of the car and the driver come in opaque sachets.
Personally, I am convinced that children will love this product. My two sons, aged 4 and 8, were amazed when the first samples arrived. They spent days swapping the parts and racing the cars. And, thanks a lot, YouTube, when they found out there is an ultra-rare driver, they promised to spend all their savings to buy it.
