Frequently asked questions

What speaker do I need for family karaoke?

For a house or small terrace (up to 30 people), an 8" or 10" active speaker with Bluetooth and a mic input is sufficient — Acoustic Control PORT8 / PORT10 or similar. For larger gatherings or a venue, upgrade to 12" or 15". If you call us, we'll guide you based on the space.

Can a soundbar replace a home cinema?

It depends. For normal TV use (movies, series), a good soundbar with a wireless subwoofer matches or surpasses a mid-range 5.1 home cinema from 5 years ago, and is much easier to install. If you're into action movies with very pronounced surround effects, a true 5.1 system with rear speakers still wins — but it requires cabling and space.

Do wireless microphones work with any speaker?

Not exactly. UHF microphones require the speaker (or receiver) to operate on the same band. Microphones that come in karaoke kits are already paired with their speaker. If you buy individual microphones, make sure the frequency matches — ask us before ordering.

Do you install sound systems in venues?

For small venues (bars, hairdressers, gyms) in the Almanzora Valley and Levante Almeriense, yes — we come with a van, install ceiling or wall speakers, and leave the system fully functional. Call us at 950 430 738 for a quote.
