Dodo is an exciting cooperative game designed by Marco Teubner, ideal for children ages 6 and up. In this game, 2 to 4 players must work together to save a dodo egg before it falls down the mountain slopes. Games are fast-paced and dynamic, lasting approximately 10 minutes, making Dodo a perfect game to keep children entertained and engaged.

Objective of the Game

Dodo's goal is to build bridges and a landing stage to rescue the dodo egg as it slowly descends the mountain. Players must use their memory and act quickly to prevent the egg from falling off the cliffs.

Game Mode

  1. Preparation: Assemble the three-part mountain and distribute the 58 building blocks face down around the mountain. Place the egg on top and the dodo to stop it.
  2. Start: The youngest player rolls the die showing a building material and turns over a tile. If it matches the material shown, they use the tile to build part of a bridge. If it doesn't match, they pass the die to the next player.
  3. Construction: Use wooden planks, nails, bamboo poles, hammers, leaves, rope, and the help of villagers to complete the bridges and pier.
  4. Collaboration and Memory: Memory is vital to remembering the location of the tiles and building quickly before the egg falls.

Difficulty Adjustment

  • Wild Tiles: Remove wild tiles to increase the difficulty.
  • Skull Symbols: Use or not use the spaces with skull symbols to adjust the challenge.
