How to play Train Adventurers: A complete guide

Welcome, adventurers! Today we are going to embark on an exciting journey through the world's railways with the popular board game Adventurers on the Train . Objective of the game

The objective of Adventurers on the Train is to accumulate as many points as possible. Points are obtained in three ways:

1. Claiming a route between two adjacent cities on the map.
2. Completing a continuous path of routes between two cities listed on your Destination Tickets.
3. Completing the longest continuous path of routes.

It is important to note that you will lose points if you do not complete the route indicated on the Destination Tickets you kept.

How to play

1. Setup : Each player receives a set of 45 colored train cars and a corresponding score marker. Four train cards are dealt to each player and five cards are placed face up next to the board. Each player receives three Destination Tickets and must keep at least two, although they can keep all three if they wish.

2. Game Turn : On their turn, each player must do one of the following actions: draw Train cards, claim a route, or draw Destination Tickets. Only one of these actions can be performed per turn.

3. Draw Train Cards : A player can draw two Train cards. You can choose from face up cards or draw the top card from the deck. If you take a face-up card, you must replace it with a card from the deck.

4. Claim Routes : To claim a route, a player must play a set of cards equal to the number of spaces on that route. The cards must be of the same specific type. When a route is claimed, the player places one of their train cars on each of the spaces on the route.

5. Steal Destination Tickets : A player can draw more Destination Tickets if they wish. You must keep at least one of the bills, but you can keep two or all three.

The game ends when a player's supply of train cars is reduced to two or less at the end of their turn. Players then calculate their final scores by adding points from completed routes and Destination Tickets, and subtracting points from uncompleted Destination Tickets. The player with the longest continuous path of routes receives a 10 point bonus. The player with the highest score wins the game.
